If you're coming from Sondrio, the road is even more direct and will take you to Bormio in about an hour.

By train: The nearest train station to Bormio is Tirano, located about 35 km from Bormio. From here, you can take a bus or taxi to reach the country. Tirano station is well connected to Lombardy's main cities, such as Milan, via regional or fast trains.

By bus: Bormio can also be reached by bus from the main Lombardy cities, including Milan, Sondrio and Tirano. Several companies offer direct and convenient connections, with regular departures. Once you arrive in Bormio, the bus station is in the center of the town, from where you can easily access the various services and tourist facilities.

By plane: The closest airports to Bormio are those in Milan (Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio), which are about 200km away. From there, you can take a train or bus to Sondrio or Tirano and then continue by another means to Bormio. Alternatively, there are also private shuttle services and transfers that will take you directly to Bormio, too.
