How to reach Bormio and Valdidentro

📍 From Milan
By car:
The most convenient solution is by car. From Milan, take the SS36 towards Lecco/Sondrio, continue to Colico, then take the SS38 towards Sondrio and Tirano. Once past Tirano, continue on the SS38 to Bormio. Valdidentro is just beyond Bormio, about 10 minutes away.
Duration: about 3 hours (depending on traffic).

By train + bus:
Take the train from Milano Centrale to Tirano (Trenord line). In Tirano, continue by bus (Perego or TRENORD line) to Bormio and then Valdidentro.
Duration: about 4-5 hours in total.

✈️ From Milan Malpensa or Linate Airport
From the airport you can rent a car or take a train to Milano Centrale and then continue as above.

📍 From Bergamo
By car:
From Orio al Serio airport or the city center, take the A4 motorway towards Milan, exit at Cinisello Balsamo, then SS36 towards Lecco/Colico, and from there continue as for the itinerary from Milan.
Duration: approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

By train + bus:
From Bergamo you can take a train to Lecco or Milan, and from there change to Tirano, then continue by bus towards Bormio and Valdidentro.
Duration: variable, between 4 and 6 hours, depending on connections.
